What is the difference between map and flatMap?

map: Transforms each element of the stream, maintaining a one-to-one structure.

flatMap: Transforms each element of the stream into a new stream, then "flattens" the resulting streams into a single stream. It is used when the transformation of a single element can result in multiple elements.
