How do you understand that your work affects the product?

Understanding the impact of one's work on the product manifests through several aspects:

• User feedback: if bugs I discover and help fix reduce the number of complaints or improve user experience.
• Quality metrics: reduction in defects in releases, improvement in stability and performance indicators.
• Contribution to processes: automation of testing, improving test coverage, which accelerates the release of new features and enhances quality.
• Team interaction: when my suggestions and findings influence architecture, design, or development priorities.

For example, if after implementing my tests and fixes, the number of incidents in production decreases, I see a direct impact of my work on the product quality.
