How does discovery differ from delivery?

Discovery and Delivery are two key stages in product management that address different tasks:

• Discovery — the stage where the team studies the problem, user needs, tests hypotheses and ideas. The goal is to understand exactly what needs to be created to solve real customer problems. Experiments, prototyping, user interviews, and market analysis are important here.

• Delivery — the stage of implementing and releasing the product or feature. After the idea is confirmed during discovery, the team works on development, testing, deployment, and support of the product.

In simple terms, discovery answers the question "What and why to do?", and delivery — "How to do it and release?".

Separating these stages helps reduce risks, improve product quality, and better meet user expectations.
