What is a Test Run?

Test Run — is the execution of a set of test scenarios (Test Cases) in a specific environment and using a particular set of data. It represents the actual act of testing, during which the functionality of the product is verified and the results are recorded.

The results of a Test Run may include:

• Status of each test scenario (Passed, Failed, Blocked, Skipped, etc.).
• Found defects (Bug Reports).
• Execution logs.
• Screenshots.
• Performance metrics (if necessary).

Test Runs are planned in advance and can be performed manually or automatically. They are a key part of the testing process, allowing assessment of software quality at this stage of development.
