During the development of the AI assistant, my technical role involved close collaboration with the development team and data scientists to define requirements and oversee implementation. I participated in selecting the model architecture, discussed machine learning algorithms, helped formulate technical tasks, and monitored the integration of AI models into the product. For example, we chose between using ready-made NLP models and training custom ones, based on the specifics of the task and available data. I also controlled the quality of training data and participated in testing models for relevance and performance.
