Who formulates the tasks to be performed within your current position?

Tasks to be performed within my current role are usually formulated by the team leader or project manager. They set goals based on product requirements and business objectives. Sometimes, tasks may come from the team lead or senior developers, who distribute work within the team. In some cases, especially in small teams, the developer themselves can propose tasks based on priorities and technical needs of the project.
