What data types do you know?

Data types can be classified as follows:

• Primitive types: integers (int), floating-point numbers (float, double), boolean values (bool), characters (char).
• String types: strings (string), which represent a sequence of characters.
• Composite types: arrays, lists, sets, dictionaries (hash tables).
• User-defined types: structures, classes, enumerations (enum).
• Specialized types: date and time (DateTime), pointers, nullable types.

Different languages and systems may have their own variations and extensions, but generally these categories cover most of the commonly used data types.
