How does business analysis differ from systems analysis? What was predominant in your work and what do you prefer more?

Business analysis focuses on understanding business needs, identifying problems, and defining requirements to improve business processes. It is oriented towards the company's goals, stakeholders, and the value that the project should bring.

System analysis is aimed at the technical side: developing system architecture, designing components, interactions between them, and implementing requirements obtained from business analysis.

In my work, system analysis was predominant, as I was involved in designing and integrating systems. However, I prefer business analysis because it allows for a deeper understanding of business tasks and goals, which helps in creating more valuable and effective solutions.
