What does an exclusive gateway look like in BPMN?

Exclusive Gateway in BPMN is represented by a diamond with a cross (X) inside. It is used for decision-making, where exactly one of several possible paths is chosen.

In the diagram, this gateway indicates a branching point in the process, where based on a condition, one of the possible continuations is selected.

Example:

[Task] --> (Exclusive Gateway X) --> [Task A]
                              |
                              --> [Task B]

Depending on the condition, the process will proceed either to Task A or to Task B, but not both at the same time.
