Onboarding is the process of integrating a new employee into the company, helping them to get up to speed faster and understand the corporate culture.

How onboarding is conducted:

• Meeting the team and manager.
• Training on necessary tools and processes.
• Setting up the workspace and access.
• Assigning initial tasks with the support of a mentor.
• Regular meetings for feedback and addressing arising questions.

The onboarding task arose from the need to reduce the adaptation time for new employees, increase their engagement, and decrease staff turnover. In my practice, onboarding has become an important part of the hiring process, as a well-organized start influences the efficiency and motivation of the newcomer.
