My requirements typically came in several formats, depending on the project stage and source:

• Technical specifications (TS) — formal documents describing functionality, business logic, and constraints.
• User stories — brief descriptions of functionality from the user's perspective, often in Agile format.
• Dialogs with clients or business analysts — oral or written discussions that I documented and structured.
• Prototypes and mockups — visual materials that help understand interface requirements.

An important part of the process was clarifying and detailing requirements through questions and discussions to avoid ambiguities and misunderstandings.
