How did you learn about the company / who recommended you?

This question is usually asked to understand how the candidate learned about the vacancy and how interested they are in the company.

You can answer honestly, for example:

• "I found out about the company through professional communities and reviews from colleagues."
• "I was recommended by a friend of mine who works in your QA department."
• "I found the vacancy on a job search website and was interested in your approach to test automation."

It's important to show that you consciously chose this company and didn't just stumble upon the vacancy by chance.
