What were the team sizes? What was the largest team composition and what methodologies did you use?

In my experience, QA and test automation teams have varied in size — from small teams of 3-4 people to large ones including 15-20 specialists. In larger teams, roles were often distributed: manual testers, automation engineers, quality analysts.

Regarding methodologies, Agile approaches were most commonly used, particularly Scrum and Kanban. Scrum is well-suited for iterative development with regular sprints and planning, while Kanban is better for a more continuous flow of tasks and flexible priority management. Some projects also employed practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing, which allowed for quick defect detection and maintaining high quality.
