What types of HTTP requests do you know?

GET: Requests a representation of the specified resource. Data is passed in the URL. No request body. Idempotent and safe. Used to retrieve information.

POST: Sends data to the server to create or update a resource. Data is passed in the request body. Not idempotent and not safe. Used for submitting forms, uploading files.

PUT: Sends data to the server to create or fully update a resource at the specified URI. If the resource exists, it is replaced. If it does not exist, it is created. Idempotent but not safe.

DELETE: Deletes the specified resource. Idempotent but not safe.

PATCH: Applies partial modifications to a resource. Data is passed in the request body. Not idempotent and not safe.

HEAD: Similar to GET but only requests response headers without the body. Used to check resource existence or get meta-information. Idempotent and safe.

OPTIONS: Used to describe the communication options for the target resource. Requests information about available HTTP methods and other options. Idempotent and safe.
