How is code review and release process organized in your team?

In my experience, the code review and release process are organized as follows:

• Code Review:

  • Each developer creates a pull request (PR) with a description of the changes.
  • At least one colleague (often two) reviews the code, checks logic, style, tests, and compliance with requirements.
  • Automated checks (linters, tests) are used to improve quality.
  • Remarks are discussed, and after their correction, the PR is accepted.

• Release Process:

  • After merging into the main branch, a CI/CD pipeline is triggered, which builds, tests, and deploys the application.
  • Releases are planned by sprints or upon feature readiness.
  • Tags and versions are used to track releases.
  • In case of problems, it is possible to roll back to the previous stable version.

This process ensures code quality, transparency of changes, and stability of releases.
