How does product scope differ from project scope?

Project scope is limited to the boundaries of a specific project and can be part of the product scope.

In simpler terms:

• Product scope — what the product should contain and be able to do overall.
• Project scope — what needs to be done within the current project to create or improve the product.

For example, if the product is a mobile application, the product scope includes all the features of the application, and the project scope involves developing and releasing a version with a specific set of features.
