What is a pull system?

Pull-system is an approach in task management and production processes where work or materials are 'pulled' as needed, rather than 'pushed' in advance. In the context of Kanban, it means that the team takes on a new task only when there is space available (for example, when the number of current tasks decreases). This helps to avoid overload, improves focus, and increases quality by limiting the amount of work in progress.
