I like PHP for its simplicity and widespread use, which ensures a large community and many ready-made solutions. I appreciate the language's flexibility and the ability to quickly create web applications.

What I don't like is that historically PHP has had inconsistent syntax and many outdated functions, which can lead to confusion. Also, in some cases, performance and security require additional attention and effort from the developer.
