Have you had experience organizing vertical code separation in a development environment?

Vertical code separation in PHP is the organization of a project into layers, for example:

• View — templates and data display.
• Application logic (Controller) — request processing, business logic.
• Data access (Model) — working with the database.

This approach helps to divide responsibilities, improve support, and testability of the code.

In my projects, I used the MVC approach and separated the code into layers to facilitate maintenance and development of the application. For example, controllers handled HTTP requests, models encapsulated database interactions, and views were responsible for output.
