How long did it take you to adapt and fully integrate into your last project?

The adaptation and full integration period into a project depends on the project's complexity, the developer's experience, and the quality of documentation. Usually, for a junior developer, it takes from 2 to 4 weeks, and for a middle-level developer — from 1 to 3 weeks.

In the first days, it is important to understand the project's architecture, set up the environment, and get familiar with the main modules. Then — start performing simple tasks, gradually moving to more complex ones.

For example, in my last Node.js project, I spent about 3 weeks studying the code, API, and business logic, after which I was able to participate fully in development and code review.
