Do you prefer backend or frontend development?

The choice between backend and frontend depends on personal preferences and skills.

If you enjoy working with application logic, databases, APIs, architecture, and server-side development — backend will be more interesting. It involves working with performance, security, and integrations.

If you are more attracted to creating user interfaces, interacting with users, design, animations, and responsiveness — frontend is preferable.

In Node.js, backend work is common, but you can also work on the frontend (for example, with React, Vue). It's important to understand that both directions require different skills and approaches, and you can develop in fullstack, combining both.

Personally, I prefer backend for the ability to build scalable systems and work with business logic, but I also value frontend for its direct connection with the user.
