Salary questions — did you fall within the salary range?

Questions about salary and falling within a range are always a delicate topic.

Speaking from my experience, I always try to find out the salary range in advance during negotiations to understand whether I fall within the range. This helps avoid misunderstandings and saves time for both parties.

If during the discussion it turns out that the offer is below the expected range, I usually explain my expectations, supported by my experience and results, and try to negotiate a compensation that satisfies both sides.

It is important to be honest and open, but also flexible to find a compromise. Sometimes the range can be expanded through bonuses, stocks, or other benefits.
