How do you feel about AI potentially replacing developers? How do you see development in 2-3 years?

AI already significantly changes the development process today by automating routine tasks, code generation, and testing. However, it is unlikely to completely replace developers in the next 2-3 years, as development involves not only writing code but also understanding business logic, architecture, communication with the team and clients.

In 2-3 years, I see development as a closer collaboration between humans and AI tools, where AI helps accelerate coding, find errors, and optimize solutions, while developers focus on creative and architectural tasks. This will increase productivity and quality but will not eliminate the need for professional skills and experience.
