Have you noticed that we have our own programming language and we write almost exclusively in it — does this bother you?

Using a proprietary programming language is an interesting and at the same time specific challenge. On one hand, it may limit access to a broad community and ready-made libraries, but on the other hand — it allows creating solutions that are maximally tailored to the company's needs.

I'm not bothered by this because:

• I am open to learning new technologies and ready to adapt quickly.
• A proprietary language often reflects unique business processes and requirements, which can increase development efficiency.
• It is an opportunity to become an expert in a niche technology and make a significant contribution to product development.

The main thing is to understand that the quality and maintainability of the code, as well as development processes, are more important than the specific language. If the proprietary language is well-supported and developed, it is not a problem.
