Have you had overtime and deadlines, and how do you feel about it? How acceptable is it to stay until 7 pm twice a week?

Overtime and deadlines are a normal part of work in IT, especially during releases or urgent tasks. I personally approach them pragmatically: I try to plan my work to minimize overtime, but if the situation requires, I am willing to stay late.

Staying until 7 PM twice a week is acceptable if it does not become a constant norm and does not negatively impact the work-life balance. It is important that such situations are exceptions rather than the rule, and that there is transparency in communication with the team and management.
