What have you improved in yourself over the last six months to a year? What did you learn outside of work?

Over the past year, I have focused on developing skills in systems programming and performance optimization. I studied the internal structure of operating systems, memory management, and concurrency at a deeper level.

Besides work, I learned the basics of functional programming in Haskell, which helped me see data processing and pure functions in a new way. This broadened my horizons and improved my understanding of abstractions, which I now also apply in Go.

I also studied modern approaches to microservices development and interaction via gRPC, which helps in creating more efficient distributed systems.
