Tell about your experience working with Kafka.

In my experience working with Apache Kafka, I have been involved in configuring and maintaining clusters to ensure high availability and scalability of messaging systems. My experience includes:

• Designing topic topologies considering performance and resilience requirements.
• Configuring producer and consumer parameters to optimize throughput and minimize latency.
• Implementing replication schemes and load balancing among brokers.
• Monitoring cluster health using tools such as Kafka Manager, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Ensuring security through authentication (SASL) and encryption (SSL) setup.

An example of usage: in one project, I implemented Kafka for real-time event processing, which helped reduce system response time and increased the reliability of data transfer between microservices.
