The Senior QA Engineer will join the Trading Data Flow team and ensure the quality of data integration products, data warehouses, ETL processes, streaming tools, and APIs. The role includes developing automated testing, improving data quality, and integrating AI into QA processes.
About the team
The international team uses English as its primary language. It develops data products including a DWH, data integration tools, data streaming tools, and APIs for accessing data.
The team collects data from other teams and their sources, provides data marts and aggregated and streaming data for internal customers, and contributes to business development at Exness.
What you'll actually do
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, deployment, and enhancement of data integration products and DWH
- Develop, construct, and maintain test suites to verify the validity and accuracy of Data Integration and ETL processes
- Drive AI integration, including agents and LLMs, across QA processes such as monitoring, testing, data quality assurance, and automated code review
- Collaborate with the team to define and describe data policies, standards, and guidelines for other teams connecting their data sources
- Collaborate on designing and implementing reconciliation, monitoring, alerting, and other data quality processes
- Investigate data quality issues with the team and work on data quality improvement
- Ensure that data solutions support business requirements
- Help define and implement team best practices that ensure the quality of data solutions
- Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Analyze and test new features before kick-off meetings
- Participate in user acceptance testing
Who we’re looking for
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Proven experience leveraging AI tools and agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex to enhance QA efficiency and process orchestration
- Expert SQL knowledge, especially in ClickHouse
- Automation experience with Python and pytest
- Experience with data streaming products such as Kafka Connect and Flink
