Tell us about your experience designing databases. What documents did you prepare and what did they describe?

In my database design experience, I participated in creating conceptual and logical data models, as well as preparing technical documentation.

The main documents I prepared:

• ER diagrams (Entity-Relationship). They depict entities, their attributes, and relationships between them.
• Data requirements specifications. They describe data structure requirements, constraints, and data types.
• Database design technical assignment. It includes architecture description, technologies used, performance and security requirements.
• Normalization documentation. It explains how data is structured to minimize redundancy.

In these documents, I described the table structures, relationships between them (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many), integrity constraints, indexes, and implementation features (for example, the use of triggers or stored procedures).
