Is there an exit from the software development cycle?

The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is an iterative process, and there is no complete "exit" from it in the traditional sense as long as there is a need for support and development of the product. However, infinite iterations can be minimized if:

• Requirements are clearly defined and documented.
• Quality testing and validation are conducted.
• Stability and user satisfaction are ensured.

After the release and stabilization of the product, the cycle transitions into the support phase, where changes are made only as necessary. Thus, exiting the active development cycle means achieving product maturity and moving to support and maintenance.
