In the standard configuration of "Payroll and Human Resources Management" (ZUP) from 1C, days off are usually considered unpaid absence time unless otherwise provided by local regulations or settings. That is, days off are days taken by the employee without salary preservation.

The standard ZUP provides a tool for recording days off through "Day Off" or "Unpaid Leave" documents. The system can track days off, monitor their balance, and use them in calculations, but by default, they are unpaid.

If a paid day off is required, this is usually implemented through additional settings or modifications, for example, through accruals for specific types of time.
