Tell us about your experience in automating business processes and transitioning from Excel to industrial systems

In my experience of automating business processes, a key stage was the transition from using Excel to industrial data and process management systems.

This included:

• Analyzing current processes and identifying bottlenecks that are difficult to automate in Excel.
• Choosing an appropriate platform (e.g., BPM systems or ERP).
• Modeling business processes using specialized tools.
• Developing and implementing automated workflows that eliminate manual input and reduce errors.
• Training users and supporting the transition period.

For example, in one project, we replaced complex Excel spreadsheets for order tracking with a system featuring a web interface and a database, which sped up order processing and increased process transparency.
