GOST (State Standard) for documentation is a set of rules and requirements for the design and content of technical documents, widely used in Russia and CIS countries. However, in most modern IT projects, more flexible standards and templates are often used, adapted to the specific needs of the team or company. If a project requires strict compliance with GOST, the documentation includes sections formatted according to established norms: title page, table of contents, introduction, requirements description, diagrams, appendices, etc.

Example: for a technical assignment (TA) according to GOST, goals, subject, scope of work, system requirements, acceptance criteria, etc., are usually specified.
