The process of gathering and describing requirements typically includes the following steps:

• Conducting interviews and workshops with clients and users to identify needs.
• Analyzing current business processes and systems.
• Formalizing requirements in the form of documentation (specifications, user stories, use cases).
• Agreeing and approving requirements with stakeholders.

My role in this process is to act as a systems analyst who:

• Organizes and conducts meetings with clients.
• Formulates and structures requirements.
• Creates and maintains documentation.
• Ensures communication between the business and technical team.
• Participates in clarifying requirements during development and testing.

For example, I can prepare a user story:

As a user, I want to be able to filter the order list by date so that I can quickly find the needed data.

And describe acceptance criteria so that developers and testers understand what needs to be implemented.
