What development methodologies are you familiar with?

I am familiar with methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Agile: An iterative approach based on flexibility and quick response to changes. Main frameworks:

• Scrum: Short iterations (sprints), roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team), daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives. Focus on teamwork and incremental value delivery.
• Kanban: Visualization of the workflow (Kanban board), limiting work in progress (WIP), measuring flow. Focus on flow optimization and continuous delivery.
• Lean: Principles of eliminating waste, building quality at every stage, creating knowledge, delaying commitments, rapid delivery, and respect for people.

Waterfall: A linear, sequential methodology. Phases follow one after another: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, support. Changes are difficult and costly at later stages.

In the context of QA, understanding the methodology helps to:

• Determine when and how to conduct testing.
• Plan testing activities.
• Interact effectively with the team.
• Manage requirement changes.
