How did you come to testing, and why testing specifically?

People often come to testing out of interest in product quality and a desire to influence the final result. For example, I started with learning the basics of development, but realized that I prefer finding bugs and improving processes to make the product reliable and user-friendly. Testing allows combining technical skills with analytical thinking and attention to detail, which attracted me to this field.
