Recently, I tested a backend task related to processing orders in an online store. The task involved receiving order data via API, validating the data, saving it to the database, and sending a notification to the user.

I checked:

• correctness of input data validation (e.g., required fields, email format, presence of products in the catalog);
• error handling when the database is unavailable;
• correct data saving in tables;
• sending notifications (e.g., email or push) after successful order placement;
• load testing to ensure the API can handle peak requests.
