Supported the producer — what does that mean?

Supporting production means that the developer was involved in maintaining and supporting a software product or service that is already deployed in operation. This includes fixing bugs, monitoring performance, optimization, updates, and sometimes adding new features to the live system used by end-users.

For example, if you worked on a web application that is already running for clients and were responsible for its stability and bug fixes, then you were supporting production.
