What is an increment in Scrum?

An Increment in Scrum is a final, potentially shippable product created as a result of completing sprint tasks. It is a working, tested, and integrated part of the product that adds value and can be presented to the customer or users. Each new increment must be compatible with previous ones and meet the Definition of Done.
