What is a value stream?

A value stream is a sequence of actions and processes that create value for the end customer. In the context of Agile and project management, a value stream helps visualize and optimize the flow of work from idea to delivery of a product or service, minimizing waste and delays.

For example, in software development, a value stream may include stages such as requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Analyzing the value stream allows identifying bottlenecks and improving team efficiency.
