What is a project closeout?

The project closeout is the final phase of the project lifecycle, during which all work is formally completed. At this point, it is verified that all objectives are achieved, results are handed over to the customer, documentation is completed, and financial and administrative issues are closed. Additionally, lessons learned during the project are analyzed, and all project information is archived.
