What is a stakeholder register?

Stakeholder register — is a document that records information about all interested parties of the project. It usually contains data about each stakeholder: name, role, contact details, level of influence and interest in the project, as well as interaction strategies.

This register helps the project manager effectively manage communications, understand stakeholder expectations and needs, and minimize risks associated with their influence on the project.

Example structure:

• Role/position
• Contact information
• Influence on the project (high/medium/low)
• Interest in the project
• Interaction strategy

Such a document is regularly updated during the project.
