Have you participated in creating projects from scratch or did you join existing systems during development?

I have experience with both options: creating projects from scratch and connecting to existing systems. When starting a new project, I was involved in designing the architecture, choosing technologies, and setting up the environment. When connecting to existing systems, I studied the current code, documentation, participated in improvements and optimization, as well as integrating new modules.

For example, when creating a REST API with Node.js from scratch, I used Express, configured routes, connected databases, and wrote middleware. In another project, I connected to a large service, where I refactored and added new features, considering the existing architecture.
