In Java projects, configuration parameters are usually set through properties files (e.g., application.properties) or YAML (application.yml), especially in Spring Boot. You can also use environment variables or system properties.

Example of configuration in application.properties:

server.port=8080
datasource.url=jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/mydb

In code, parameters can be obtained via @Value or through the ConfigurationProperties bean:

For more complex configurations, profiles (e.g., dev, prod) are used to change parameters depending on the environment.
