What information is stored in the JVM call stack?

The JVM call stack stores information about method calls of the current execution thread. For each call, a frame is created, which contains:

• Local variables of the method (including parameters).
• Operands for executing bytecode instructions.
• A reference to the class's constant pool.
• The return address after the method completes.

The call stack helps the JVM track the order of method calls and manage their execution, and it is also used in exception handling.
