How did you prepare and what did you do before starting your career in software development?

Before starting a career in software development, I dedicated time to studying the fundamentals of programming and algorithms, using online courses and books. I practiced writing small projects in Java to reinforce my knowledge of syntax and object-oriented programming principles.

I also participated in educational projects and hackathons, which helped me gain experience in teamwork and understanding the software development lifecycle. I studied version control systems (Git), basics of working with databases, and testing fundamentals.

An important stage was familiarizing myself with development tools and environments, such as IntelliJ IDEA, which accelerated the process of writing and debugging code. All of this helped to build a foundation for a successful start in the profession.
