Can you tell about how you worked with data collections in your last project?

In my last project, I actively worked with data collections in Java, using standard interfaces and classes from the java.util package.

For example, to store and process a list of objects, I used ArrayList, which allowed efficient addition and retrieval of elements by index. For unique elements, I used HashSet to avoid duplicates.

I also used the Stream API for convenient filtering, sorting, and transforming collections. This enabled writing concise and readable code.

An example of using Stream for filtering and counting:

List<String> names = Arrays.asList("Anna", "Bob", "Alice", "Brian");
long count = names.stream()
    .filter(name -> name.startsWith("A"))
    .count();
System.out.println("Number of names starting with A: " + count);

Overall, working with collections was a key part of data processing and business logic in the project.
