How do you divide heavy and simple tasks with the same level of importance and deadlines?

If tasks have the same importance and deadlines but differ in complexity, I try to break down the heavy task into smaller subtasks to simplify management and progress tracking. Simple tasks can be performed in parallel with parts of the heavy task to make the most efficient use of time.

For example, you can start with a simple task while preparing or researching for the heavy one. It is also important to assess risks and dependencies: if the heavy task is critical for subsequent stages, it should be prioritized.

Thus, I allocate time and resources so that both tasks progress simultaneously without blocking each other.
