How do you assess your level — Middle or Senior? What is the difference between them?

I assess my level as Senior because I possess deep knowledge of Java and related technologies, can design application architecture, and take responsibility for technical decisions.

The difference between Middle and Senior is as follows:

• Middle is a specialist with good practical skills, who can write quality code, solve medium complexity tasks, and work in a team under the guidance of more experienced colleagues.

• Senior is an expert who not only writes code but also designs systems, optimizes development processes, mentors other developers, makes architectural decisions, and is responsible for the overall quality of the product.

A Senior developer also can foresee potential problems, suggest improvements, and actively participate in planning and task estimation.
