Tell me about incident management in your team: how is the process organized, is there a duty schedule?

Our incident management team is structured as follows:

• There is a regulation describing the process of detecting, classifying, and escalating incidents.
• When an incident occurs, the duty team receives a notification through a monitoring system (e.g., Prometheus + Alertmanager).
• The duty officer promptly analyzes the problem, tries to localize and resolve the incident.
• If the incident is critical, it is escalated to senior engineers and managers.
• After resolving the incident, a postmortem is conducted — analyzing the causes and developing measures to prevent recurrence.

Duties are organized on a schedule with rotation to evenly distribute the workload and maintain a high level of team readiness.
